Looking to take on a new challenge and want to finish your first triathlon? You’ve come to the right place!
Want to push your limits and set a new PR? I’m ready to help you get there!
Thinking about stepping up to a new distance but not sure where to start? I’ve got you covered!

At Dara Multisport, I thrive on empowering each and every woman to achieve her own personal multisport goals. I understand that goals can vary widely and I love helping others set their sights on new milestones and push their limits. My #1 focus is to guide my athletes as they zero in on their goals, and then provide the necessary support for them to reach them.

You CAN do it!

My coaching philosophy is heavily athlete-centered, balancing your work, home, and social life with training in a manner that best suits your needs and ensures you will meet your goals. Training plans will be appropriately structured for your current level of fitness and provide a proper balance of swimming, biking, running, and strength and conditioning. I also provide guidance on nutrition, gear, and race logistics, as well as encouragement and motivation to help you along your journey!

The Dara Knot

The Dara Knot is an ancient Celtic symbol derived from the word “doire,” meaning oak tree. The Celts revered oak trees, and the knot was created to resemble the root structure of these magnificent trees and to symbolize their strength, power, and endurance.

With Dara Multisport, you will harness that inner strength and use it to achieve your dreams.

About Coach Katie

IMG_4067.jpg

As a working mom of three young kids who has a passion for training and racing triathlons, I have become an expert at optimizing my time and understand the importance of helping my clients optimize theirs.

I reluctantly raced my first triathlon in 2012 as a challenge from a friend, and was sure it would be my last. Immediately after crossing that first finish line, I was hooked! Since that day, I have raced every distance from sprint to full, including my first Ironman when my oldest child was a year and a half old. My goal is to open other women’s eyes to the multisport community, to show them how exciting, supportive, and empowering it can be, and to help to break down barriers and expand participation in multisport events by women of all ages, races, backgrounds, and body types.

When I’m not working or training, I am typically spending time with my family. We live in Baltimore, MD and love to travel, camp, ski, and do anything outdoors!

I began mentoring other triathletes in 2014, but received my Ironman and USAT Level 1 coaching certifications in 2020 and started Dara Multisport to take my coaching passion to the next level. While I love working with all triathletes, my true passion lies in helping other women balance their full plates while achieving their dreams.
